HISTORY OF WHEELIES                                               

I started my bicycle repair career in the early 70’s as a kid with AJ’s Bike Shop in Medford, New Jersey. (Photo of myself in front of bike store in the 70’s). The days of the Stingray, 10 speeds and banana seats. I have seen and worked with the changes over the years and have grown with the advent of the mountain bike, BMX, and hybrid bicycles.

Bicycles, skateboarding and auto racing allowed me to work for individuals and companies such as Mario Andretti, Paul Newman, Jiffy Lube, and AAA. I understand the importance of quality, professionalism, customer service and relationships.

Still keeping my irons in the fire, I stayed active in bicycle repair as the go-to-guy for friends and family.

As time past the repair list grew. At the request of my accountant I was advised to go corporate. So Wheelies L.L.C. was formed in 2004.
